Well it's taken me over a month but I've finally caught my first fish of the season! And I caught another while I was at it!
Conditions: Bluebird skies, clear water that's on the warm.
Bait: Light colored crankbait that I played in the top foot or two of water and brought it in slow to give the bass time to chase and attack
Rod/Line: Brought them in on my new light action Daiwa pole with 8lb test braided line and a 12 foot fluoro leader.
First fish was 12" and the second was 11" (photos are a bit deceiving just because of the camera angle).
