Jordan Sun Dolphin Journey 10 SS

I bought this yak at Wal-Mart for $299 - shipped to store for free and was able to take it out the same day it arrived as it comes with a paddle!  Online transaction to available for pick up in the store was about 3 weeks.  Being 10 feet long and weighing a meager 50 pounds means that this yak acts just like the lively reputation these smaller crafts are known for.  It doesn't track especially well, it's not particularly stable, but I'm able to load it onto my car's roof by myself and that's what was most important to me.

You'd be hard pressed to find another angler's yak outfitted as well as this one for the price!  Stock features include the knee rest pads, seat back pad, adjustable foot pegs (removed because I'm too tall for them to be comfortable), paddle rests with bungies on either side of the hull, two flush mount rod holders behind the seat area and a swivel rod holder up front, a central dry well (does not provide interior access however), cup holder and a bungied bottle holder, and mesh coverings over two recesses by each hip area.  The bow and stern areas both came rigged with carry handles and bungies.  The stern tank well also came with a removable, towable storage well (not pictured).

The only modification I've made thus far is the addition of an anchor trolley complete with a diamond braided nylon rope (50') and an 8 pound mushroom anchor (perfect for the muddy, silt covered lake bottoms where I fish).  No further modifications planned at this time.

Looking good man - and it only took us about an hour to put the anchor trolley on! You'll have to add a pic of that fancy removable storage too Wink
